Welcome to Eve Ministry Plus. A place to find help that empowers you for effective parenting. Helping you Parent for success which is from a godly perspective - it’s intentional parenting. Psalm 127, is one of the songs of ascents of King Solomon. Songs of ascents were sung as the people of God ascended up to the House of God for worship. Verse, one declares; "Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain (NIV)."

A house is what shelters, a place to live in, it speaks of our foundation. God has given us principles to live by, to guide, which give us good success for every aspect of our life. His WORD gives instructions to live by. One of the instructions in the WORD is how to build our child’s life by the WORD of God. As parents we weren't sent home from the birthing centre with our child with an instruction manual but God's WORD has what we need to help us guide them with godly principles to live by, which is their center, their core beliefs. We can build our child’s life by giving them the structure they need, by making the WORD first place, the foundation in our homes.

Eve Ministry focuses on parenting our children effectively to help them flourish:

  1.  Spiritually, that they recognize they are God's offspring, a spirit being living in a body
  2.  Socially, that they live out God's Kingdom principles in a manner that relates to human society.
  3. Emotionally, that our children may be able to convey or express their feelings in a manner characterized by godly principles. Being well adjusted to face the challenges of life.

Proverbs 22:6; “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (NKJV).”

  • Parents have the responsibility to prepare their children to live their lives in fear of God.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9; “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates (NIV).”

  • Parents have the responsibility to teach their children about God and godly principles.

According to the verses above, God command parents to instill in the life of their children His WORD at home and outside the home. There are opportunities to teach them, when its bedtime, when they rise from sleep. In other words first place is to be given to His WORD in ever aspect of the family life.

Deuteronomy 11:19; “Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up (NIV).”

  •  A command to the parents to teach their children.

2 Timothy 3:15 “and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus (NKJV).”

  •  A child learning scripture from childhood

2 Timothy.1:5 “I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also (NIV).”
